Pinkberry Goes Greek Too!

Pinkberry, whose first store opened in West Hollywood in 2005, is the new player in the Greek yogurt industry.
The company, known for revolutionizing the frozen yogurt category, has now launched a Greek yogurt line hoping to get some customers from the endlessly expanding Greek yogurt market. The Greek yogurt will not be served frozen however.

Pinkberry states in their website about their new product:
“Our aim is to redefine the experience of Greek yogurt. We are now opening at 8 in the morningf in select stores to provide fresh breakfast featuring Greek yogurt, daily cut fruits and all natural, premium granolas and toppings. The fresh Greek yogurt product has 18 grams of protein**, low sugar and is nonfat.”

Many companies have tried to cash in the great demand of the American market for Greek yogurt. According to recent figures the No1 selling Greek yogurt brand is Chobani.

Greek company FAGE was a pioneer in the USA and the first to invest in the Greek yogurt market; however, the Greek-owned company has seen its sales declining recently.
