Greeks and Turks have had their moments of tension in the past and sometimes politics still do not favor of Greek-Turkish friendship. However, the two nations have many things in common from food to the looks of the people as Aynur Terzi explains.
Ainour is Turkish and has been the marketing director of Turkish-owned Friendly Organic, a company that provides high performance, value-added ecological cleaning and personal care products.

Friendly Organic and its relationship with Earth Friendly products owned by Greek-American Van Vlahakis is a great example of Greek-Turkish friendship and business collaboration.
“I am really good friends with Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks, the daughter of EFP owner and Vice President of the company. It’s not just business,” she points out.
Earth Friendly Products has been a supplier for the Turkish company, and the two have developed a great business collaboration that can be an example for many more business relationships that Greek and Turkish entities can achieve.
“Friendly Organic and the people that run the company have been not only great customers but dear friends to me and my father,” comments Kelly Vlahakis-hanks, Vice President of Earth Friendly Products.
Both companies are also bound by their love for the planet and a dream for Earth’s green future. Friendly Organic pledges that they do not use detergents of petrochemical origin or substances which have been produced with the help of genetic engineering and they do not test on animals or use animal ingredients.
