The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) organizes a summer internship program in Greece and Cyprus for Greek-American students who are interested in learning more about Greek national issues.
The program will be held from the 13rd to the 19th of June, 2012, and is aimed at students studying Political Science, International Relations, History, Law etc..
A trip will be held first to the American capital and then to Greece and Cyprus, where students will be given the opportunity to learn about US-Greece-Cyprus relations.
In Washington, seminars will take place focusing on Greek-Turkish relations as well as Balkan and European issues.
AHI President Nick Larigakis stated that this program could strengthen Greek-American relations.
AHI organizes such programs and seminars annually so that the Greek-American Community can be informed about Greek national issues.
