A Vasilopita dinner was held on January 8th, hosted by the Ladies Philoptochos (“friends of the poor”) Society of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Wilkes-Barre.
At the dinner, parishioners raised approximately $1,000 for St. Basil Academy, a residential school for at-risk students run by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America in Garrison.
