Singer Annet Artani Sues Management Company for Trashing Her Reputation and Career

Annet Artani, a singer and songwriter from Queens, filed an $18 million lawsuit against her management company for allegedly trashing her career by portraying her as a lazy bimbo, whose “constant offerings of sexual favors for a recording contract caused her to lose much credibility with some of the music community.”

According to the singer of Greek origins, SWAP management company accused her of lying about her age and of demonstrating racist behavior within her working environment. These false accusations have had a severe blow at her career and have also managed to end her marriage.

Annet Artani is best known for representing Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 and for writing the 2004 hit “Everytime” with Britney Spears.

“Annet’s a talented artist, and her career was derailed by this company”, said Artani’s lawyer Donato Guadagnoli.

According to New York Post, SWAP CEO Anel Pla said all of the allegations in the letter are true, and they’ll defend the case “tooth and nail. I am not backing down whatsoever.”
