The Greek community of Metamorphosis tou Sotiros in Mattituck of Long Island was overwhelmed by feelings of love, community, gratitude, and hopes last Saturday evening.
The Community decided to honor two of its significant members, its former president Mr. Michael Pappas and its secretary Mr. Vassileios Raptis for their longtime and unselfish dedication to the community.
Both Mr. Pappas and Mr. Raptis had faced serious health problems lately and their presence in the honoring event was very touching to all community members and the Argyrochorites, who attended the event to express their gratitude to their brotherhood, as well as other Hepirotic unions.
