Dan Mavraides, a senior at Princeton University from San Mateo, CA, is the latest Greek-American to go to Greece to play ball. The 22 year-old star basketball player recently signed with Aris in Thessaloniki for the next three seasons. His contract took affect September 1.
The talented young point guard is very excited about his new adventure, and spoke recently on Aris’ official radio station. He said, “I was enthusiastic about it from the very first moment. This is a club with a great tradition, plenty of titles and exceptional fans. Aris is a big club with high targets.”
