A Greek Orthodox priest, who only identified himself as the priest of the destroyed St. Nicholas Church at Ground Zero, called in to the Sean Hannity radio show this week. The cleric called in during a conversation regarding 9/11. The host of the nationally syndicated radio show respectfully allowed the priest to tell the story about St. Nicholas, and that it still hasn’t been rebuilt.
The priest also had some suggestions for listeners on this upcoming anniversary of 9/11. He said that people in service industries, such as doctors, nurses, medics, firefighters, police officers and military personnel, should proudly wear their uniforms, so they could easily identified and acknowledged.
He also urged listeners to, on this Sunday, “visit the house of worship of their choice, and pray. Just pray.”
