The popular Bob Chinn’s Crabhouse, a restaurant operating in Wheeling, IL since 1982, will honor the Greek American Rehabilitation & Care Centre as benefactor of their upcoming golf outing, September 12. Proceeds will benefit the Memory and Care Floor of the nursing home, also located in Wheeling.
The Memory and Care Floor is a 64-bed wing of the facility that serves Alzheimer’s and dementia residents.
Fundraisers such as this help to sustain the 204 bed, not-for-profit facility, which opened in 2002. Nearly 70% of the residents are on public aid, which only pays a portion of the costs to live at GARCC.
