”The Greek initiatives over the last twenty months to overhaul the state, promoting meritocracy, transparency, accountability and open government are recognized by the U.S. and the international community”, said the Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Communications, John Ragousis. He has been invited by the U.S. government to take part in a high-level meeting on “Open Government”.
The meeting was held under the auspices of the UN and will be held at the State Department on Tuesday.
It is an international initiative of U.S. and Brazilian governments, particularly the Foreign Ministers of both countries, Hillary Clinton and Antonio Patriota, respectively.
