The annual celebration held in the White House in honor of Greek Independence Day, in the presence of President Barak Obama, will take place on Friday, the 25th of March. The Greek government will be represented by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dimitrios Dollis, while Archbishop of America Demetrios will represent the Greek-American community. Diplomats, members of Greek organizations in the U.S.A, known businessmen and people of Greek descent that serve in the government, in the Congress and other U.S. services, are invited to the event. The American President will refer to the “friendship and co-operation bonds” between the U.S.A. and Greece.
