The Greek Community of Metropolitan Detroit will celebrate Greek Independence Day on March 27th, with a parade in downtown Detroit.
The parade will start at 3:00 p.m. and proceed on Monroe Street from Woodward to Greektown.
The parade will be led by Metropolitan Nicholas of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Detroit George Reganis, the Detroit Greek Parade president, and the 2011 Hellenic Heritage Award recipients.
