Municipal Council of Manchester Decides to Implement Greek Language Courses in all High Schools, N.H.

The Municipal Council of Manchester, New Hampshire, decided that the Greek language will be taught in all high schools beginning in the new academic year, next September. This initiative belongs to Greek Councillor Thomas Katsiantonis (photo) and was adopted by Mayor Ted Gatsas, of Greek descent. In Manchester, which is the biggest city of New Hampshire, there are three Senior High Schools. The three schools have more than six thousand students, among them many Greek-Americans.
