Prime Minister Giorgos Papandreou had a teleconference on Sunday night with Exterior U.S. Minister Hilary Clinton, regarding developments in Egypt. The Minister called the Greek PM mainly to talk about the forming situation in the troubled country after the removal of Hosni Mubarak.
Papandreou mentioned the prospects of the EU and Greece to assist Egypt constructively during this transitional time. He also informed Clinton on the latest developments regarding the presence of representatives from the EU, ECB and IMF in Athens.
Again, Clinton expressed the support of her country on the efforts of the Greek government and its people.
