Hellenic Quest is not an e-learning program of ancient Greek distributed throughout the whole world by CNN as it has been written around the web. The author of an article that was spread around the internet had described the project as “a program destined for Spanish and English speaking people that want to learn Greek.”
The false article was also stating that “the program is produced by the huge computer company Apple” and included fake quotes from Apple executives. Apple’s president nor his employees know anything about its existence and and as sources verify ”Hellenic Quest is just an urban legend that praised the Greek language. However, it may not be a bad idea for a computer company to develop it .
