James Steinberg on the issue of FYROM’s name

Ιν an interview for the Eurasian section of the “Voice of America”, addressing the issue of the name of FYROM, the US Deputy Secretary of the State, James Steinberg stated that the US government is wishing the best for this process and that they would exchange ideas with pleasure encouraging both sides to focus on the final rewards.
The US official said he understands the difficulties that the prime minister of FYROM is facing regarding the tough choices that lay ahead. However he stressed that only bold decisions on his part would help move the process forward and bring an end to the 18 year long dispute. Steinberg also expressed his support for the ongoing UN-led talks between Skopje and Athens and particularly endorsed the role the UN mediator Matthew Nimetz is playing in bringing the two sides closer towards a solution.
He said that the US administration would “gladly exchange ideas and encourage both sides” in efforts to reach an agreement.

Ahhh…James Steinberg, He said that the US administration would “gladly exchange ideas and encourage both sides” in efforts to reach an agreement – when the previous US president (I do not remember his name)monolaterally accepted the use of REPUBLIC of MACEDONIA when addressing the Bulgarian descent and speakers slavs of Skopje. These Slavic nation has a hidden agenda of (some day) expanding their nation to the Aegean, first by by being recognised as Macedonians.

"Bold decisions on his part" meaning the ball is in Gruevski's court meanwhile Albanian separatists plot a Kosovo style partition of part of that country. Stubborn leaders lead their own countries to ruin.
