Greek America’s 40 Under 40

The Greek America Foundation’s mission is to “promote, preserve and perpetuate the Greek culture, history and heritage in America.” Through their various projects, programs and events, they strive to bring elements of Hellenism to mainstream America. One such project, called “40 Under 40,” recognizes the achievements and successes of 40 of Greek America’s young leaders. The honorees were announced this week.

The winners represent multiple industries and disciplines, from business, politics, the arts, to philanthropy and more. These inspiring young leaders will be featured in a special upcoming edition of Greek America magazine. The foundation will celebrate the winners at an upcoming cocktail party and awards reception in Chicago this June 12. The event will also feature a performance by the duo HelenaMaria, featuring twin sisters Helena and Maria Mehalis, New Jersey natives who are quickly rising in popularity.

The “40 Under 40” reception coincides with the premiere National Innovation Conference (NIC 2010), also sponsored by the Greek America Foundation, which will take in Chicago on the same day. The complete list of the honorees consists of:
