With a main target of strengthening trade relations between the United States and Greece “Hermes Expo International” will be hosting the 19th exhibition during the weekend of 24-25 of April in Atlantic City.
Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT) will be joining the exhibition along with the District of Kavala, the Municipalities of Thessaloniki, Patra and Larissa, the islands of Kassos and Karpathos, and several private companies.
This year’s exhibit, which is sponsored by SAE U.S. with President Theodore Spyropoulos will be focusing on import / export and promotion of Greek tourism.
The founder and chairman of the “Hermes” exhibition, Pavlos Kotrotsios, said “Our goal is to open channels of communication and cooperation between Greek and American entrepreneurs, to promote Greek products in the United States and also to show the important role of Greece in the region, in the field of investment. For this reason, at this year’s exhibition more Balkan countries will be participating. Also, according to Mr. Kotrotsios, “It’s made possible for local authorities in Greece, public organizations and individuals through public relations and the possibility of cooperation with major American companies to develop new methods of business knowledge”.
Like last year, events in the exhibition will start from New York in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Queens, on April 22.
In addition to presenting issues related to business cooperation, there will be a display of Greek wines.
“Come see, grow a network and expand your business”. That is our motto and we expect to contribute in strengthening the Greek economy and improve the image of Greece in the U.S., “said Mr. Kotrotsios, noting that apart from the commercial sector during the exhibition in Atlantic City, we have scheduled a series of lectures on health and welfare. In cooperation with the Hellenic Medical Societies of New York and Philadelphia the Hippocrates Symposium will be held in Hermes Expo.
There will be a conference stating the problems that the new generation of GreekAmericans in the US are facing, and their relations with the place of origin. “We want to have the attention of young people on issues in Greece “.
The” 19th International Trade Fair Hermes will honor this year people within Greek Omogenia that have excelled in various industries.
