A new novel by author Ioustini Gragouli-Argyri titled “For the love of others” (Psyhogios publications) was recently presented in Athens’ King George Palace Hotel. Present at the event were, from New York, her son of the book heroine, John Katsimatides, a high profile member of the Greek-American community, together with his wife Margo and their son, John.
According to the author, the book is about the life of John Katsimatides’ mother, “Margarita” who grew up on the island of Nysiros and emigrated to the United States with her husband and son.
Ioustini Frangouli-Argyri graduated from Athens Law School and has worked as journalist since 1983. She has been a regular contributor to daily newspapers and magazines and a radio and TV producer. She is currently living in Canada, working as a correspondent for the Athens News Agency and two Greek weekly newspapers.
