Bloomberg is In Catsimatidis is Out of Race for New York City Mayor

Last week, as the federal appeals court was still deciding on terms limits in New York City, John Catsimatidis told Greek Reporter exclusively “If the court allows Bloomberg to run again I will pull out, if not then yes, I am in the race.” Just two days ago the court decided that Mayor Bloomberg will be able to run for office a third time, something the current mayor of New York considers a victory in its own right. Greek-American businessman Catsimatidis said that while it is his dream to be the mayor of New York City, his hopes have once again been dimmed. Last year, and before Bloomberg had made public his decision to run for mayor, John Catsimadtidis had formed and exploratory committee and early results indicated he had a strong chance of becoming the GOP candidate.
