Township resident Sara Louise Lazarus will direct the star-studded benefit “Broadway For A New America” on Monday, March 2, at 7 p.m. at Peter Norton Symphony Space, 95th Street and Broadway, in Manhattan. The concert will be hosted by Broadway star Jim Dale, and features Tony, Emmy and Oscar nominated performers Stockard Channing, Rosie Perez, Fran Drescher, Anne Meara, Lillias White, Melissa Errico and Tovah Feldshuh. Appearing in addition will be internationally renowned Greek tenor Mario Frangoulis, who has sung with Placido Domingo, Celine Dion and Sarah Brightman.
